This position serves as Without Compensation (WOC) Research Biological Laboratory Technician within the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The Biological Laboratory Technician performs a variety of routine, entry-level laboratory support duties in a biomedical research environment. Major duties include, but are not limited to: Conducts work according to Laboratory Safety Regulations. Maintains laboratory records and prepares reports. Performs work on research experiments, testing and scientific analysis procedures carried out in the laboratory. Washes and autoclaves lab glassware and reagents.
Assists with data collection, data analysis and laboratory experiments. Assists Principal Investigator with environmental, health and safety matters.
