Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Accountant, performing analytical assignments, evaluative skills and techniques, providing a continuing independent review of financial, accounting operations, including the implementation of policy and guidance pertaining to appropriated and non-appropriated, accounting and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

Performs accountant financial analyses, studies, statistical data and reports for accounting in appropriated and non-appropriated funds activities. The incumbent ensures sound financial management of NAF and related Appropriated Fund support to NonAppropriated Fund Instrumentalities (NAFls). Provides guidance and assistance throughout AFRC as accounting subject matter expert. Performs budget execution work involving financial trend and performance analysis.

Performs special and recurring projects.
