Key Responsibilities
Serves as the Chief of Administration for Isle Royale National Park and Keweenaw National Historical Park, providing expert leadership over all business and administrative operations. Advises park superintendents and managers on budget, finance, human resources, acquisitions, property management, agreements, and information management. Leads a small administrative team and ensures that business functions effectively support mission delivery across both parks.
Day-to-Day Duties: Manage budget planning, execution, and financial oversight. Supervise administrative staff and coordinate daily workflow. Oversee procurement, property management, and contract packages. Serve as liaison for HR services, staffing actions, and workforce planning. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
