The primary purpose of this position is to install, adjust, align, troubleshoot, and perform final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assembles, and components such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs troubleshooting on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components - Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components - Accomplishes operational and maintenance record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area
This position is with Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command, Department of the Air Force.
