Job Summary

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service. In addition, ARTs are required to maintain their active membership in the AF Reserve unit where assigned. ARTs receive on average one weekend of military training per month.

Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is: This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position located in the Equipment Maintenance Squadron/Maintenance Squadron/Aircraft Generation Squadron, Aerospace Systems Flight, Fuel Systems Element.

The purpose of this position is to serve as section supervisor over employees engaged in condition evaluation, test, repair, modification and overhaul of aircraft fuel system assemblies, components and parts, to include repair of integral fuel tanks. Additionally, trains reservists in the duties and responsibilities set forth herein. Performs work planning. Performs work direction responsibilities. Performs administrative responsibilities.
