Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Airfield Management/Base Operations. Oversees maintenance and operation of the airfield to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations. Represents the installation for all airfield management matters at various conferences, meetings, and one-on-one dealings with local officials, other DoD components, and other Federal and State organizations concerning management and use of the airfield.
