Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MAJOR DUTIES: Assist the manager in the overall operation, supervision, and administration of the facility and assumes all duties and responsibilities in the absence of the manager. Assists with the preparation of annual activity operational budget, other reports and documents. Maintains records and files. Assists and provides technical information to patrons on their vehicle repair and maintenance. Maintains property, equipment and tool inventories.
Schedules and performs a variety of MCCS department vehicle¿s periodic maintenance. Monitors car wash operations. Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of equipment, stock replenishment and cleanliness of activity. May be responsible for change fund. Assist in the supervision of assigned employees, approves/disapproves leave requests and completes performance evaluations. Verifies daily attendance and time cards. Prepares work schedules.
Ensures that security, safety, and housekeeping rules are followed. Provides on-the- job training, instruction and guidance to employees. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services.
Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
