Key Responsibilities

The United States Attorney's Office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is seeking an Assistant United States Attorney to further develop the District's e-Litigation practices and procedures and to be responsible for leading the District in coordinating and overseeing standardized discovery and case-management practices, while ensuring that appropriate e-Litigation resources are utilized to effectively manage, analyze, and present case data.

The successful applicant will work to: improve the use of existing tools (e.g., Eclipse, Everlaw, eZmanage, Evidence.com), and learn new tools as they become available; ensure all AUSAs and support staff receive the necessary training to meet the challenges of e-Litigation and e-document management; act as the USAO's primary liaison on e-Litigation issues to Department components, including EOUSA, as well as the Federal Public Defender, the Court, and other law enforcement agencies; and provide technical and strategic guidance to litigating teams on the collection, review, production, and presentation of evidence.

As workload permits, the e-Litigation AUSA may assist criminal and civil AUSAs in all phases of the litigative components of their cases.
