Assist Billing Supervisor in preparation and submission of third-party claims utilizing automated billing service programs and software. This position is under the direct supervision of the Billing Supervisor within the Pine Ridge Service Unit, Business Office. Utilize a variety of automated systems to acquire patient medical records and analyze data for construction of billing instruments. Evaluate claims casefile for accuracy, troubleshoot irregularities for timely submittal, and audit casefiles for accountability.
Communicate with healthcare providers, counterparts, and patient to obtain accurate data such as dates, medical care services, and wet ink signatures.
