Job Summary
This position is located in the Office of Press and Public Diplomacy (PPD) within the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) in the Department of State (DOS). SCA/PPD provides policy direction and operating guidance to officials in Washington and at SCA posts and oversees strategic planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation of public diplomacy operations in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Serves as a Budget Analyst and senior advisor with responsibility for managing the Department's strategic planning and budget formulation processes for SCA/PPD foreign assistance and public diplomacy resources, with a particular focus on Afghanistan.
