The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a budget analyst in the 690th Cyberspace Operations Group (690 COG), Financial Management Office, performing a variety of budget functions involving the formulation, presentation, execution, and/or analysis of budgets for the 690 COG, 690 ISS, 690 NSS, 690 COS, 691 COS, 83 NOS and 561 NOS.
DUTY 1: Provides advice, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information. Devises and recommends the adoption of procedures to implement budgetary processes, policies, and regulations issued by AFCYBER Command, Air Combat Command (ACC), 67th Cyberspace Wing, 24th Air Force, Air Combat Command or AF headquarters.
DUTY 2: Performs budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding, such as direct annual, and multi- year appropriations; apportionments; allotments; transfer of funds from other agencies such as Army, Navy, National Security Agency (NSA), and other governmental agencies; industrial funds; and refunds.
DUTY 3: Conducts analyses, reviews, and special studies of budget and/or related information. DUTY 4: Performs budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates for the 690 COG, 690 ISS, 690 NSS, 690 COS, 691 COS, 83 NOS and 561 NOS into a consolidated budget request. DUTY 5: Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
