The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the lead over the budget program; responsible for the formulation, justification, presentation, and execution of the budgeting, Engineering and Force Protection, Resource Integration; provides oversight into the design, development and implementation of and execution of budgetary policies and systems.

Key Responsibilities

As the lead analyst, they have oversight of the Logistics and Installation funded programs performs budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses and estimates of annual funding needs for one or more future budget years and oversees the AF/A4 Contract Management Oversight process.

Develops new methods for testing and evaluating the effectiveness of planning, programming, and budget actions/processes in support of major Air Force mission and operational plans. Maintains a continuous liaison with other Air Staff, other Service headquarters counterparts, and DOD offices to integrate Air Force PPBE support actions. Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments.
