Key Responsibilities
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for planning, implementing, and administering the full spectrum of budget and financial operations for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of North Dakota. Typical work assignments will include: Developing and maintaining a comprehensive financial management program that involves both short and long-range programmatic plans and annual budget.
Preparing annual administrative budgets and budget estimates. Advising management on the planning and development of budget requirements. Ensuring obligations, expenditures, and unobligated orders and available balances are valid and supported. Managing the certifications of obligations of goods and services. Providing technical guidance, advice, and assistance to the Administrative Officer and U.S.
Attorney in the identification of future resource requirements, and in the planning and development of future budget requirements. Overseeing the processing of travel authorizations and travel vouchers/claims. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
