Duties This position serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsible for the management and direction of OSC-wide IT and information technology systems. This includes multiple IT systems broadly identified as (a) enterprise content management; (b) information communication; (c) information security and (d) enterprise structure and customer service.
As a Supervisory IT Specialist, you will be responsible for: Overseeing a comprehensive and compliant computer security program. Consulting with the Principal Deputy Special Counsel and COO, leading the overall success of the IT program to ensure alignment with critical agency priorities.
Acquiring and managing the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support information technology (IT) goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk. Providing advice and assistance to the Special Counsel and senior leadership on IT matters. Representing the agency at meetings and conferences concerning IT issues. Serving as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all IT related purchases.
Providing supervision, direction, and leadership to assigned IT staff within the information technology office.
