As a Chief of Staff, provides advice and assistance in the planning, resourcing, leadership, coordination and direction of national Public Building Service (PBS) initiatives within a Business Line. Location of position: GSA, PBS - One position in each of the following organizations: Office of Program and Project Management, Office of Real Property Disposition and Office of Engineering. We are currently filling three vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
The positions for Office of Program and Project Management and Office of Engineering will be filled in any of the listed locations. The position in Office of Real Property Disposition will only be filled in one of the following locations: Boston, MA; Atlanta, GA; Fort Worth, TX; San Francisco, CA or Washington, DC. Provides advice and guidance on issues related to Public Building Service (PBS) business line programs, staffing, training, budget and resource matters.
Plans, executes and coordinates a variety of special projects. Establishes program objectives, develops long-range plans and identifies required resources in order to promote an efficient, economical and progressive organization. Assures development and establishment of adequate internal management control systems. Responsible for the effectiveness of management pertaining to the day-to-day administration of PBS staff programs.
