The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior professional for the Civil Engineer Division, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), with a particular emphasis to providing pavements engineering expertise to interpret, develop, and implement policies, criteria, and standards for design and construction activities to AFRC, NAFs and installations.
DUTY 1: Provides professional engineering consultative services concerning civil, pavement, geotechnical and drainage systems in support of AFRC missions, in accordance with all DoW, Air Force, and applicable laws and regulations. DUTY 2: Provides technical expertise to activities, staff, installations, and other organizations in the review and approval of AFRC pavement designs and civil utility systems.
DUTY 3 Participates and provides pavement and civil utility (to include aircraft arresting systems) engineering expertise in support of Project Planning Document (PPD)/Requirements Documents (RD) development.
