The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the long-range inspection scheduling technical advisor to the MAJCOM Inspector General (IG) on matters pertaining to DAFI90-302, The Inspection System of the Department of the Air Force, (otherwise known as "The Inspection System").
Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and executes a wide range of complex activities for the Air Mobility Command (AMC) Commander's Inspection Program (CCIP) through the AMC Inspector General. Develops, integrates, and directs AMC IG long-range planning activities.
Plans, organizes, deconflicts and coordinates with AMC Staff, subordinate AMC Regular Air Force (RegAF) and AMC-gained ARC units, as well as other MAJCOM/IGs and subordinate units to build the AMC Inspector General inspection schedule ensuring both short-range (less than 6-months) and long-range (6 months to 5 years) schedules comply with legal and regulatory requirements, meet command intent and satisfy customer needs. Manages and directs the command's Gatekeeper program.
Coordinates with visiting agencies, AMC RegAF and AMC-gained ARC units.
This position is with Air Mobility Command, Department of the Air Force.
