Job Summary
The primary purpose of this Air Reserve Technician (ART) is to serve as command post controller and carry out all functions associated with command post operations for airlift/rescue/fighter/special operations unit.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and implement actions in response to all Higher Headquarters (HHQ) operations orders (OPORD) and operations plans (OPLAN). Operate, troubleshoot and maintain NORAD Alerting System (NAS), scramble lines and other Air Sovereignty Alert (ASA) equipment. Develop, initiate and coordinate Emergency Action Checklists (EACs). Participate in Command Post training meetings.
Assist in development, administration, and documentation of written exams and scenario testing for evaluating the proficiency of command post personnel.
