The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a community planning professional at an Air Force( AF) installation responsible for managing activities related to human as well as physical aspects of community, regional, urban, comprehensive, and land use planning in support of an installation. Facilitates the development and maintenance of the Installation Development Plan (IDP) and other comprehensive planning studies used as the basis for installation planning, land use development, and installation investment planning decisions. Ensures compatible use planning between on and off installation facility and infrastructure development and land use. Plans, programs, budgets, and executes required projects in support of assigned programs.
Collects data and evaluates factors which affect the physical development, maintenance, and management of installation infrastructure assets.
