The primary purpose of this position is: Serves as a senior technical advisor to the Wing Commander, directing the installation's mission sustainment, encroachment management, and community partnership programs. Manages the Mission Sustainment, Encroachment Management, and Community Partnership Program for the Air Force Reserve utilizing asset management principles. Serve as the focal point for coordinating Air Force Mission Assurance enterprise planning, programming, budgeting, execution, and policy efforts. Executes Portfolio Management Analysis.
Integrates AF enterprise-wide mission sustainment/encroachment management and decision support based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Targets & Measures (T&M) derived from strategic policy, guidance, and mission requirements.
Maintain liaison with DoD, Military Components, Congress, all appropriate government agencies and private planning organizations, as well as state and local government agencies to implement the OSD Mission Sustainment/Encroachment Strategy and mitigation initiatives. Represents the organization at executive levels within the Government and to contractor/industry representatives.
