As a Data and Automation Analyst, you will perform a wide variety of planning, analysis, evaluation, and project management to improve the efficiency of internal administrative operations, organizations, and management as well as the effectiveness of program operations. Location of position: General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Washington, DC We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
As a Data and Automation Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Review management and program goals and objectives; monitor the sequence and timing of key program events and milestones, and evaluate overall program accomplishments and significant contributions in terms of bureau (i.e., Federal Acquisition Service) and agency goals. Provide critical analysis of pressing issues and the development and evaluation of ongoing and/or new programs and systems.
Perform comprehensive research and analysis of specific policies, systems, operations, and organizations to verify that Federal Acquisition Service metrics represent business operations and strategic directions. Design and undertake comprehensive, novel, and/or highly variable management studies, projects, initiatives, data-gathering, and analysis efforts.
Serve as a point of contact and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, including requirements development; and assists product owners in managing requirement dependencies with other product teams. Prepare and/or conduct briefings for executive and other management and staff to explain specific analyses of program operations.
Communicate and interact with product owners, product managers, peers, users and stakeholders, agency employees, contractors, and external federal agencies to ensure completeness of documentation, obtain missing information, and ensure stakeholder understanding of requirements, project activities, reports, and/or other information.
