WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Data Scientist, you will: Serve as technical advisor for the administration and management of assigned projects and studies, including the direction and control of project planning, project review and findings; Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations; Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established project goals and objectives.
Consult and collaborate with statistical, data science, artificial intelligence and public health professionals in the collection, linkage, processing, mining, coding, classification, and analysis of public health surveillance, research, and administrative health data. Develop expertise in the fields of health science, artificial intelligence, and programming languages as applied to public health.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
