As a Data Scientist, you will perform the following duties: Assist with the design, development, evaluation and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities, edge computing, and new automated analytic workflows. Assist with researching integrated workflows. Apply data science languages and computational frameworks to analyze field-collected fisheries data.
Work across research teams and apply developmental scientific and technical knowledge to define requirements and develop research projects from idea creation to system evaluation, with emphasis on data curation in support of these projects.
Carry out limited professional assignments in a technical professional field under periodic technical supervision on all phases of assignments, applying established methods, tests, procedures, and techniques, and recording actions and results.
