Job Summary

You will serve as a DATA SCIENTIST in the FORCE IMPROVEMENT OFFICE of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND.

You will perform work related to the extraction, processing, and transformation of structured and unstructured data into information that enables the organization to make accurate, data-driven decisions through advanced visualization techniques

Requirements & Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess either Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.

or Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
