The Office of the Associate Administrator for Information Management (NNSA-OCIO) handles all matters related to information management, information technology and cybersecurity for the NNSA.

Key Responsibilities

As the Deputy Associate Administrator for IM and Deputy CIO you will have the following duties: Provides direction, guidance, oversight, review, and approval on the technical, management and administrative direction of information technology (IT) initiatives, projects, and objectives; evaluates, modifies, and make recommendation on contractor design proposals.

Provides direction to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on the information management and cybersecurity needs of the organization. Communicates to business unit customers the direction of information management and cybersecurity technology initiatives. Ensures the development, promulgation and execution of oversight activities related to the development and implementation of information management and cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures.

Represents NNSA in external coordination (interagency, Congress, other Federal agencies and/or corporate entities) on information management and cybersecurity activities.
