Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position to: (1) provide overall management of reserve wing and unit-level emergency management (EM) and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense programs, (2) ensure AF Incident Management and CBRN defense training is provided to assigned reserve wing personnel, (3) plan for and ensure EM personnel are prepared to meet rapid deployment requirements in support of contingency or wartime operations.

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. Manages the Emergency Management and CBRN Defense programs for the reserve wing. Critical Serves as technical advisor to reserve wing and squadron commanders and provides sound technical advice on Air Force Incident Management emergency response concepts and procedures. Establishes and participates in discussions and meetings or serves on panels or committees.

Provides overall administrative management of readiness and EM flight resources. Responsible for acquisition, maintenance, storage, and shipment of equipment and systems required to support emergency response operations, EM force deployments, and protective shelter activities. Develops, updates, or reviews planning documents (plans, directives, checklists, etc.) for reserve wing EM force utilization. Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures.

Manages and oversees reserve wing emergency management and CBRN training programs.
