This position is located in the Bureau of Intelligence and Research, Executive Office (INR/EX), U.S. Department of State. The incumbent serves as INR's subject matter expert on intelligence emergency management, acting as the primary liaison for emergency contingency planning and as the Bureau's advisor and coordinator for all emergency preparedness.
This role ensures the continuity of INR's intelligence operations including collection, analysis, and production in the event of an emergency.
Key Responsibilities
Leads IC-wide emergency drills, tabletop exercises, and training programs; drafts evaluation guidance and after-action reports; and ensures Bureau compliance with IC and Department standards.
