Major duties include, but are not limited to: Support worker-centered occupational safety and health procedures while also promoting worker health, monitoring, and tracking the health status and well-being of employees, and assessing workplace safety from hazards and contaminants in the workplace. EOH RN is a novice nurse, with, upon hiring, no experience of the situations in which they are ultimately expected to perform.
Educated about situations in terms of objective attributes and other measurable parameters of a patient's condition, features of the task world that can be recognized without situational experience. Obtains knowledge to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, directives, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The nurse brings principles and theory with limited application of critical thinking skills.
