As a(n) Epidemiologist, you will: Serves as a national or internationally recognized consultant and expert on epidemiological issues on critical problems in the field of epidemiology. Identifies and analyzes public health issues and their impact on public policies or epidemiological studies or surveys. Designs, plans, and initiates epidemiologic studies, surveys, and investigations.
Evaluates data collection, quality control, and data utilization methods used to study epidemiological problems and issues. Provides advice and assistance for the development of contracts, grants, or cooperative agreements for professional, laboratory, or other services pertinent to the program, project, or study.
Prepares statements of work, participates in technical review panels for contract proposals, and oversees contracts and cooperative agreements to ensure quality assurance and quality control.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
