The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an AFSOC Regional Air Force Engineering and Technical Services (AFETS) specialist and technical expert advisor on complex and sophisticated systems/equipment to support MAJCOM and subordinate units.
Key Responsibilities
Serves as a regional senior technical advisor to major command functional managers, AFSOC units, senior leaders and maintenance technicians in maintenance, operation and training related to complex and sophisticated systems, and equipment. As MAJCOM regional senior technical advisor, provides expert technical advice to senior leaders and functional managers in the maintenance, operation, and training related to complex and sophisticated systems and equipment.
Provides technical assistance to assigned units in resolving complex system/equipment problems or design deficiencies. Prepares informal training to include over-the-shoulder, classroom, demonstration, one-on-one, and spontaneous training.
