You will serve as an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT with Office of the Secretary of Interior. This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, Assistant Secretary of Fish, Wildlife & Parks, in WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Provide high-level administrative and technical support to senior AS-FWP officials, managing sensitive, confidential, and complex assignments requiring tact, diplomacy, and comprehensive knowledge of Office initiatives and policies.
Conduct research, compile and summarize data, and prepare materials for meetings, briefings, hearings, and interdepartmental activities involving senior-level stakeholders across DOI, Congress, and the White House. Review, track, and manage all significant correspondence and documents in the supervisor's suite; ensure alignment with DOI policy and prepare draft correspondence for the supervisor's signature.
Coordinate and prioritize program issues, prepare briefing books, screen inquiries, organize meetings, and maintain awareness of Office activities to ensure the supervisor is prepared and informed. Independently handle program inquiries that do not require the supervisor's direct attention by applying comprehensive knowledge of AS-FWP functions and Department programs.
Serve as an authority on travel regulations affecting political and senior executives; plan itineraries, coordinate logistics, ensure compliance with regulations, manage vouchers, and brief the supervisor after travel. Manage agendas, invitations, and scheduling for recurring and ad-hoc meetings; exercise diplomacy when coordinating with high-ranking officials and adjusting schedules.
Oversee maintenance of the supervisor's suite and follow through on contractor requests to ensure timely completion of services.
This position does not allow substituting education for experience.

The posted pay range is $102415 – $133142/yr.
This position is eligible for telework.
