Job Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices,International Affairs. As an Executive Operations Analyst, you will provide continuing leadership and influence on program and managerial decisions in all aspects of administrative services, procedures, and practices for the Office of International Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Advises on all aspects of Under Secretary and Assistant Secretary travel. Plans, organizes and directs studies of relevant work processes and products. Recommends policy or process changes to senior management.
Serves as protocol liaison for International Affairs. Ensures proper protocols are followed when receiving foreign visitors and when principals and/or staff are representing IA with foreign governments or institutions. Leads training and development for administrative support staff to build capacity throughout the organization. Provides and or secures administrative services, and communicates and ensures compliance with administrative policies.
