The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Facility Operations Specialist (FOS) in managing operations and maintenance of Air Mobility Command's Global Air Mobility Support System (GAMSS) facilities, land, and equipment dedicated to administrative, air transportation, aircraft maintenance, and cybersecurity functions.
Plans and coordinates all work requirements and complex projects to maintain Air Mobility Command (AMC) facilities and properties. Oversees facility operations management resources and evaluates service contracts, financial plans, information resources, and space utilization.
Implements and evaluates facility programs to manage safety risks, fire safety risks, facility response to emergencies, and to manage risks associated with physical security, hazardous materials, and waste. Attends staff meetings, working groups, and coordinates with various personnel to accomplish facility work.
