The Financial Analyst serves as a senior leader, portfolio lead, and the principal financial authority within the Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager for Unmanned Systems (DRPM-UxS) office.

Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as a Financial Analyst for the DRPM-UxS, the incumbent acts as the principal financial authority exercising day-to-day management and executive-level orchestration of the portfolio's complex financial enterprise.
Provides direct oversight of the comprehensive Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) lifecycle for the organization and ensures the absolute integrity, defense, and justification of DRPM-UxS's budget submissions, Program Objective Memoranda (POM), and budget estimate submissions.
Establishes and enforces stringent financial review protocols, guaranteeing that all budgetary products consistently meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance, securing the robust funding necessary to support the DRPM-UxS mission. Leads and executes highly complex financial assessments to underpin pivotal portfolio investment decisions, capability developments, and strategic resource allocations.
Orchestrates and directs the day-to-day financial workflows across joint service representatives and component resource sponsors and expertly translates the Staff Director's broad strategic priorities into comprehensive, actionable financial execution plans and meticulously managed budgetary milestones. Drives portfolio performance, optimizes resource distribution, and builds the fiscal capacity necessary to tackle unprecedented national security challenges.
