The primary purpose of this position is to deliver and support Agile, War-Winning Capabilities in AFMC by providing financial management services to all personnel, programs, support missions, associates, and external customers for the AFMC. Provide expert advice/solutions and decision support on complex financial matters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collects, prepares, maintains, manipulates and interprets comprehensive financial reports and statements, variance analyses, Requests for Information (RFI's) and financial trend analyses about the budget and programs of assigned organizations. 2.
Serves as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor in financial management, providing professional guidance and assistance to leadership, program managers, and functional experts on budgetary impacts, process execution, and program viability. 3. Prepares and delivers professional presentations, formal reviews, and analytical reports to higher echelons and stakeholders.
Fosters collaboration and builds consensus among diverse functional groups, representing organizational interests in meetings, working groups, and conferences. 4. Evaluates the impact of pending and current directives from higher authorities (e.g., Congressional, OMB, DoD, USAF) on organizational resources and formulates recommended courses of action.
