You will serve as a FUL - Recreation Fee Technician. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties associated with the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fee revenue and donations collected from the public.
At this grade level, the position is primarily responsible for carrying out a wide variety of clerical and technical assignments that involve the application of fee program knowledge and the policies, procedures, and practices of fee collection.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Assist higher level personnel with auditing fee collection program components/systems (e.g., cash registers, road/trail registers, honor systems, automated fee machines (AFMs), donation boxes, etc.). Process reservation arrivals and departures; create, modify, and/or cancel reservations; monitor inventory, quotas, and reservable versus first-come, first-served availability.
Perform recurring or standardized reconciliation duties involved with ensuring fee and/or donation funds collected are appropriately deposited in the proper accounts or functional areas. Maintain accountability records of fee collections showing transactions from the point-of-receipt to the time-of-deposit
