PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: To serve as HQ USAFA engineer (MAJCOM equivalent) coordinating USAFA programs with higher headquarters, managing strategic initiatives, and overseeing implementation of programs and projects.
Provides managerial oversight of Headquarters program development and engineering activities, ensuring that USAFA complies with legal, regulatory, and higher headquarters requirements and meets customer needs. Provides managerial oversight for MILCON design and third-party funded design and construction. Represents USAFA with a variety of headquarters, installation, and functional area organizations.
