The primary purpose of the position is to support the System Redesign (SR) program at the Health Care System level.
As a Health Systems Specialist, you will: Be responsible for supporting the SR team in the process of data gathering and analysis, assisting and managing system improvement activities and projects, and creating and evaluating reports Deliver Performance Improvement techniques to a broad array of programs and services throughout the Medical Center, including Lean, Coaching, Project Management, and Training Assist with SR education and training Serve as a resource for matters related to data capture to include spreadsheets and graphic software for managerial, administrative and clinical purposes Responsible for executing many special projects that require a variety of tasks and duties Complete other duties as assigned Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Regular and recurring work is mostly sedentary involving sitting at a desk, although the position requires the ability to move from one geographic location of the facility to another. The incumbent works with a computer screen and keyboard. Some physical effort such as standing, walking, bending or prolonged sitting may be required. The work places no special physical demands on the individual.
Assignments may require occasional travel. Work is performed primarily in a shared office space but may also require work to be performed at other geographic locations of the facility.
