This position is located at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS) in Prescott, AZ.
They report directly to an Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Member and is a member of the management team, responsible for areas including development of HCS's organizational strategy, analysis of demography, epidemiology of market area, focused studies on strategic issues, development of new organizational initiatives, coordination of long-range capital, facility planning, and space optimization.
Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Works closely with members of national and VISN strategic planning program offices, VA HCS Engineering Service, the Chiefs and staff of various VA HCS clinical and administrative specialties, and other staff members. Works without any other sight but in the context of a multi disciplinary planning team.
Directly responsive to the VISN Program Officers, Medical Center Director or other members of the Executive Leadership Team as circumstances require. Responsible for a variety of planning functions. Researches and provides data analysis, process design, stakeholder engagement, project management, and written and oral communication. Works with facility Section Chiefs and Program Managers in the formulation of strategic and business plans for their respective sections.
Works closely with Service Chiefs and Program Managers in establishing priorities for personnel, workforce development and education, safety, security, equipment, supplies, and allocation of resources as needed. Coordinates and accomplishes special projects using own expertise and all available resources.
