This vacancy is for a HR Information Systems Analyst (Pathways Recent Graduate) in the Office of the Secretary within the Department of Commerce.
As a HR Information Systems Analyst (Pathways Recent Graduate), you will perform the following duties: Support DOC Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) operations across NFC-connected platforms (EPIC/Web, GovTA/Paycheck8, Reporting Center, SecureALL) and OPM systems (eOPF, USA Staffing).
Execute routine role-based access requests and guided security audits, troubleshooting account lockouts and password resets, processing system access requests, and collaborating with specialists on bureau-wide audit execution and data collection to uphold HR data security and compliance.
Assist with workforce data capture and external reporting, gathering, testing, data validation, documentation, and end-user support, ensuring data integrity, access management, user adoption, and accurate HR service delivery. Support HR stakeholders, IT staff, and program offices in gathering requirements, documenting business needs, identifying routine process improvements, and supporting system enhancements or Power Platform components for automation efforts.
Participate in assigned portions of HR systems projects (implementation, testing, operations/maintenance) using defined timelines and quality standards.
