This position is located in the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Management and Operations Division (MOD), reporting to the OMB Human Capital Director. Key Responsibilities

As a Human Capital Specialist (Data Analytics) (Detail), GS-0301-14, your typical work assignments may include the following: Develops, reviews, and analyze statistical data and reports. Analyzing and recommending alternative procedures and processes necessary to effect administrative and human resources management decisions.

Maintains a working knowledge of all human capital initiatives and consults with HR and other key stakeholders regarding their capacity to deliver information or products in direct support of those initiatives. Working directly with staff to develop, generate, and improve personnel reports by using a variety of analytical and human resources skill sets, data gathering, and validation techniques.

Manages tasks towards developing comprehensive plans and strategies for the internal and external integration of daily and long-range projects, actions, and activities that execute the mission of human capital. Works with managers, human capital staff, and stakeholders to develop innovative approaches to data gathering, reporting, and analytics.

This includes identifying appropriate technology and software such as advanced excel programming & reporting, PowerBI development and Microsoft Access.
