The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Systems Manager responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of the new automated personnel data systems for multiple bases and CPF's, administering, maintaining and developing the enhancements of automated processes in a centralized civilian personnel environment.
Serves as a senior personnel systems manager responsible for administering, and maintaining current and new automated processes in a regionalized civilian personnel environment in modern DCPDS. Designs and develops data products, processes, or programs that enhance capabilities available within the automated systems, or on microcomputers, to assist local staff, CPF staff, and management officials in their day-to-day operations.
Participates in special projects, develops program initiatives and performs special assignments. Performs the duties of the senior team specialist and provides expert advisory service and guidance to management officials at various levels with the agency. Participates in the administration of self-evaluation. Plans and develops local methods and procedures for the evaluation of the systems management program.
