Job Summary

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Planning, Program Analysis, and Evaluation Directorate, Business Process Solutions Division, in the following locations: Washington, District of Columbia Indianapolis, Indiana Minneapolis, Minnesota Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

Key Responsibilities

Joining the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Office of Human Resources Management as a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems), will allow you to use your experience in mission-critical Human Resources technology projects that transform how CBP hires, onboards, and supports its nationwide workforce through high-impact solutions This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10).

Major Duties: Coordination and maintenance of application software and systems to support CBP's Human Resources information needs in standing up and maintaining automated HR process management capabilities within CBP. Developing requirements for user needs, and based upon said requirements, develop workflows that improve and control critical human resources and system-based business processes.

Performing function-by-function, element-by-element data reviews and analyses of the HR processes, operating procedures, and systems to recommend more efficient processes, and, follow through with said implementation.
