The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over supervisory and non-supervisory employees assigned to the Directorate of Manpower, Personnel and Services, Enlisted Development Branch, etc.
with responsibility to implement/modify command wide enlisted assignment policy.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Directorate of Manpower, Personnel, and Services Directorate, Personnel Division, Enlisted Development Branch, Special Duty Assignments Section (HQ AETC/A1 KAS), ensuring that command enlisted special duty assignments, force development, and utilization complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Represents HQ AETC/ A 1 KAS with a variety of installation and functional area organizations Manages the Enlisted Special Duty assignments Program ensuring that all aspects of the program for the command comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.
Performs stand alone, autonomous human/enlisted force development program issues for AETC with regards to enlisted assignments and how it relates to the enlisted promotion, classification, retirement, separation, recruitment, sustainment, and complete enlisted force development life cycle programs.
