Job Summary
This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for directing the execution and coordination of a variety of military personnel strength management programs.
Key Responsibilities
As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) at the GS-0201-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Provides staff level advisory services to various levels within the agency. Conducts policy reviews to evaluate effectiveness of current policies and practices and to ensure consistency in their application. Maintains familiarity with career patterns and military specialties to ensure units are authorized the proper personnel for mission accomplishment.
Serves as the Military HR team member on special projects or comprehensive studies to identify and examine problems or operating issues that may impact our military members within the SCO-Global. Analyzes and makes recommendations to various officials regarding impact on authorization concerning reorganization or change in qualification requirements for military personnel

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
