Serves as a Production Control Manager for the Federal Prison Industries, located at a federal correctional facility, under the general administrative supervision of the Clothing and Textiles Assistant General Manager, with secondary supervision by the Clothing and Textiles General Manager. Provides management and supervision of all aspects of material planning and management for multiple factory operations.
Assists in planning, evaluation, decision making and controls with regard to physical inventory which impact manufacturing operations and budgeting for multiple UNICOR factories within the Clothing and Textiles Business Group. Responsible for developing and implementing training for other Factory staff within the Clothing and Textiles Business Group.
Assists Clothing and Textiles Product Managers in planning and forecasting to ensure customer deliveries are completed to the customer's satisfaction. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
