Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a variety of specialized technical and investigative work associated with Complaints, Review, and Oversight functions within a MAJCOM Inspector General office.
Key Responsibilities
Participates in the development, review, and implementation of MAJCOM IG policies and procedures. Provides guidance on procedures and processes for processing complaints, FWA disclosures, Congressionals, etc., to Inspectors General (IG) at installations of the command.
Conducts investigations of complaints and resulting investigations that cover a diverse range of subjects and allegations in such areas as operations, logistics, personnel, finance, civil engineering, training, and health care, and ranging from simple inquiries to very complex issues that may result in further investigative matters that grow from the original complaint. Manages the Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act release of IG records.
