The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Wing (or Wing Equivalent/FOA/Center, as applicable) Inspector General's Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) administrator. Administers MICT pre-inspection and post-inspection activities. Plans, implements, and oversees centralized control of coordinated unit/installation MICT program. Controls, administers, and maintains MICT data requirements for the unit/installation. Performs MICT administrator duties. Coordinates, effects development, and schedules MICT products, retrievals, and other programs.
Develops strategies, guidelines, and procedures to conduct a comprehensive unit/installation MICT program, with considerable variety and scope. Prepares quarterly MICT review schedules for approval. Develops, coordinates, and obtains approval for MICT assessment activities. Represents the unit/installation in a wide variety of MICT assessment functions at meetings, in working groups, and other situations, including emergency management personnel in surrounding communities.
