This position is in the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)), Office of the Director for Defense Intelligence, Warfighter Support (DDI(WS)), Global Partnerships (GP) Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

This Position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601 If selected, Federal employees currently serving in the competitive service must acknowledge that they will voluntarily leave the competitive service by accepting an offer of employment for a DCIPS excepted service positions.

If selected, non-DCIPS candidates must acknowledge that the position they have been selected for is in the excepted service and covered by DCIPS.

For more information see https://dcips.defense.gov/ Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as a senior specialist and program representative, providing support and advice on issues related to the coordination and prioritization of intelligence and foreign partner engagements, ensuring alignment with Department of War (DoW) National Defense Strategy and priorities.

Analyzing overall Defense Intelligence and Security Enterprise (DISE) partner engagement event activity. Providing oversight to the coordination and approval of international intelligence and security agreements/arrangements. Represents DDI(WS) in DoW, Intelligence Community (IC) and interagency committees, steering or working groups, conferences, and other meetings relevant to partner engagement relationships, strategies, and resources.

Establishes and leads the work of DoW and interagency teams, boards, or committees to create new policies and identify new or existing mechanisms to coordinate partner engagement or resolve issues affecting the DISE and international partners.
