The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a experienced intelligence specialist engaging in the complex technical collection and reporting of information obtained from multi-intelligence sources, through various means, related to political, eco, social, cultural, physical, geo, scientific, and/or military conditions, trends, and forces that directly or indirectly affect national security.
Serves as a multi-source intelligence collection specialist working complex collections and operations assignments. Serves as a subject matter expert for intelligence collection and operations. Plans, directs and oversees ISR operations.
Manages, oversees, directs, and integrates functions to provide ISR intelligence and situational awareness necessary to successfully plan and conduct operations in support of combatant commanders and other customers within the assigned areas of responsibility. Serves as a Publicly Available Information (PAI) Manager.
Manage, coordinate, and synchronize the presentation of AF PAI needs and issues across the full doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTMLPF-P) spectrum. Serves as a functional authority on ISR issues. Develops and presents ISR capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers.
Conducts complex research, evaluation, collection, dissemination and fusion of multi-source information from one or more intelligence disciplines to satisfy a broad range of customer requirements.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
